Karl has over 20 years experience in the Financial Services industry working at major investment banks and fintechs. He is an operations enthusiast with a passion for designing, delivering and running operations solutions and teams. As MD, Global Head of Operations, he helped MarkitSERV(IHS Markit), a critical post trade and regulatory reporting infrastructure provider, grow from start-up to a multi billion-dollar business serving all of the major financial institutions.

He also served as Global Head of Loan Operations for ClearPar (IHS Markit) - helping to drive efficiency in the Loan Market and improve processing times.

Declan has a background in Financial Services with a technology influence. He began his career working in FX Operations servicing Private, Corporate & Institutional clients in buying & sending currency around the world. Whilst in this role Declan was also responsible for sprint planning & UAT testing in the roll out of a new internal CRM. Following this he moved to a major Data & Technology company working as a Senior Implementation Specialist servicing and supporting the G15 banks & Investment Managers in onboarding to a wide range of platforms and services as well as assisting with the implementation, testing & Go-Live support of a new major matching, clearing & reporting platform for the OTC Derivatives Industry. 

With a passion for building client relationships and ensuring customers use services to their fullest, his role expanded and was a part of launching a new team in Customer Success where he focussed particularly on solutions in the Rates & Credit asset classes and areas, clients could de-risk and optimise processes.

Declan is passionate about Motorsport and frequently travels to racetracks near and far, enjoying a wide range of single seater and endurance categories. There are many areas of motorsport he aligns consulting in operations such as, delivering under pressure, having efficient processes & a best in class strategy. He has also been fortunate to visit some interesting places, such as the Galapagos Islands and enjoys travelling to countries, experiencing different cultures and ways of life.
